Medical Training Therapy
 
 
The medical training is meant for when you've suffered an injury, when you've had surgery or when you have a chronic orthopaedic ailment. You will work on reducing existing physical complaints and improve the active functionality of your body. You can progress to Medical Training Therapy after individual rehabilitation or start directly when individual rehabilitation is not necessary.
 
You train in a group of no more than 8 people.
 
You can even join if you have never been to a fitness centre or if you've never done any exercise. However, it is important that you can function individually within a group.
 
The training is always guided by one of our physical therapists.
 
Before beginning one of our Medical Training programmes, you will consult our physical therapist.
Back training
 
Low impact training in order to improve the functionality of the spine.
 
In the first part of the training we will work on the strength stamina and the flexibility of the back and abdominal muscles. There will be ample attention paid to body posture and balance. You will learn to feel how the correct body posture gives you strength and confidence!
 
In the second part of the training you work in a circuit, under the guidance of the physical therapist. We finish the training with a cooling down.
 
In the training we make use of fitness equipment, separate weights, balance boards and other training equipment.
Shoulder-neck training
 
Low impact training in order to improve the functionality of the shoulders and cervicothoracic spine.
 
In the first part of the training we will work on the strength stamina, the stability, the flexibility and the coordination of the shoulder and neck muscles. There will be a lot of attention for the body posture. You will learn to feel how the correct body posture gives you space and increases the mobility of the shoulder girdle!
 
In the second part of the training you work in a circuit, guided by the physical therapist. We finish the training with a cooling down.
 
In the training we make use of fitness equipment, separate weights, balance boards and other training equipment.
Knee- and hip training
 
Low impact training to improve the active functionality of the knee and hip.
 
In the first part of the training we will work on the strength stamina and the flexibility of the knee and hip muscles.  There will be ample attention paid to body posture and balance. You will learn to feel how the correct body posture gives you security when walking and moving!
 
In the second part of the training you work in a circuit, guided by the physical therapist. We finish the training with a cooling down.
 
In the training we make use of fitness equipment, separate weights, balance boards and other training equipment.
Core Stability training
 
Challenging Circuit Training to strengthen back and abdomen and to improve core stability.
 
In the training we make use of use of TRX, strength and cardio machines.
 
This training is excellent as supportive training for outdoor sports.
Lower Body training
 
Challenging Circuit Training to strengthen lower body and to improve body positioning.
 
In the training we make use of use of TRX, strength and cardio machines.
 
This training is excellent as supportive training for outdoor sports.
